New Manic Art
'New Manic Art' is the debut album for Melbourne rockers Trial Kennedy. Wielding as much grunt as gravitas, it remains at heart, a bare-boned rock record. But if there's a signature to Trial Kennedy's sound, it's their uncanny talent to be able to suddenly shift in transition from dark to light, despair to joy, anger to jubilance, all in an instant without ever seeming jarring. The so-called 'next big thing' in Australian rock is oft-touted, but rarely delivered. In the case of Melbourne's Trial Kennedy, they are that band.
The 50 minute bonus DVD of exclusive Trial Kennedy footage invites you in the studio to see the guys discussing the making of 'New Manic Art' as well as two video clips and a special behind-the-scenes look at the animated clip for 'Colour Day Tours'.
